Central Vietnam In Monochrome
During the second week of June, I headed out with Pics of Asia to co-lead an amazing central Vietnam tour. It was my first time joining Etienne Bossot on one of his highly regarded photo expeditions. I was honored to be invited to work with a group of (already talented) participants to help improve their portrait and travel photography skills. I was especially excited to return to Vietnam, my favorite country in Southeast Asia.
For five days our group surrounded ourselves with much of what makes Vietnam so beautiful and culturally rich, taking our time to enjoy the people, food, and stunning environments found throughout Vietnam's heartland. Starting in Hoi An, we headed north and meandered our way along the coastline to the lagoons around Huế. By the time our expedition came to an end, we had explored the Perfume River and the verdant countryside that surrounds it.
For this particular post, I am sharing a set of monochrome images that I shot between Hoi An and Hue. Stay tuned for another, colorful collection of images from the tour.
